Can there be light without darkness, peace without war?

Sri Sri: During the day, if you have to create darkness, then you have to create it unnaturally, like closing all doors in a room. So light & peace are natural occurrences; of course natural calamities have always occurred and will continue but it increases when we exploit nature; and
that is what is happening today we need to save the environment its only human beings who exploit nature and spread waste.

Animals never do.have you ever been to a forest and seen animal waste lying around?...animals always clean up, maintain the ecological balance.similarly in ancient times, even today among tribals, the tradition of honouring nature, keeping clean continues.so we should not destroy nature, our bodies by doing unnatural things to destroy them before their time.

At the same time periods of darkness, difficult situations help in our growth; makes us stronger so good also comes out of unpleasantness(He gave the example of how children growing up in
slums have better immunity systems than us). But still, peace is absolutely necessary because creativity blossoms only in peace. All great happenings have been only in peaceful eras.

  1. The statements of politicians towards the citizens of another country suggest (reflect) their future (possible) policy towards that country. Remember the sanctions on India by America after the 1998 Nuclear Tests? Since we are all related with India in some way, you might possibly recollect the headlines with reference to America regarding Food Grains…

American President George W Bush had given a statement on Oct 2008 that the average American consumes Five times more food than the average Indian… Indian leaders (George Fernandes, Advani and others) had immediately protested; expressed their anguish and sadness at the statement; and demanded an apology on Oct 2008; and a day later (on Oct 2008) European leaders had expressed their solidarity with America and had asked India to focus on the main issue of enhancing its food stocks.

All these events around us are actually, simply HAPPENING. We are NOT in control of anything happening in this universe; not even our breaths. It is all, really, a play of the Divine power present within us, and around us and we simply have to become aware of the situation around us in the proper perspective, and perform our Karma in the proper manner… Only Destiny is enabling me to perform my Karma in this direction, and I can ACTUALLY FEEL it.

There is an ongoing Food Crisis prevalent in the present times, and prices of food grains in all countries of the world are rising exponentially. Food-related riots have erupted in Haiti, Egypt and Bangladesh. Climate change is impacting agricultural yields. Frequent floods and changing rain patterns have slowed agricultural production. As regards the availability of food grains as a ratio of a country’s population; India is almost at the bottom of the list with just around three months of Reserve Food stocks in its FCI (Food Corporation of India) Godowns.

India gets 2,617 kg of wheat from one hectare against China’s 4,455 kg and France’s 6,740 kg. India’s rice yield is half of that in China. The foodgrain output has grown at only 0.48 per cent in India in the past 10 years while the population grows at 1.19 per cent annually, according to official figures.
The policy of our late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi is pertinent in the present times. Her Policy was “WHAT IS ACTUALLY IMPORTANT IS WHAT WE CAN DO ON OUR OWN; NOT HOW MUCH WE CAN BORROW FROM OTHERS” However, in the present scenario; the land in Punjab, the ‘granary’ of India, is losing (has almost lost) its fertility due to excessive use of chemical fertilisers, Pesticides, and other Chemical agents.
I am Major Arun Kumar Jha, a (37 yr old) serving Officer of the Indian Army originally from a village in Madhubani district of North Bihar. The land in the plains of North Bihar is very fertile due to the silt deposited by the rivers (melting Himalayan Glaciers) flowing through Nepal over the yrs. Global Warming guarantees the high level of ground water in the coming decades and centuries, in North Bihar. I have fully prepared plans of making North Bihar the future ‘granary’ of India through Private enterprise (submitted to HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Founder of the ‘Art of Living’ Foundation) and plan to leave service at the earliest I can after completing 20 yrs of physical service, and securing my Pension (though I can very well choose to continue in this wonderful – Govt – service till 30 June 2023).
I can retire (at the earliest) with Pension by 30 June 2012. From 13 May 2013; (13 May being the date of birth of HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar – the inspiration behind this project); I (assuming ideal conditions) plan to start the first Food Processing Unit (FPU) of the enterprise by 13 May 2013 from my house in Madhubani city in North Bihar. After operating a profit-making FPU from Madhubani city over three yrs; I plan to seek Venture Capital (VC) funding of around $ 10 Million to $ 500 Million (Rs 50 Crore to Rs 2500 Crore – the manageable amount) for the enterprise.
If some Indian Company with those funds (or even the funds to cater for the operations of the first profit-making FPU of the enterprise – headquartered in my house in Madhubani city in North Bihar) is interested in getting to know the details of my plans, it is requested to contact me at bpfp@rediffmail.com. If it wants to execute these plans through its own efforts, even then I am prepared to give my Finalised plans to the Company free of cost. If they would want to execute these plans through me; then it will HAVE TO BE Submitted to HH Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and it can only start after 13 May 2013.
Alternatively, if you could get my email and this message (these ideas; thoughts) to the attention of big, (Indian) multinational companies/firms; may I request you if you could inform them to contact me for the plans of enhancing the food security of India by encouraging Food Processing activity in the fertile areas of North Bihar (again) at my email bpfp@rediffmail.com?
